Sustainable
Building Products

We have partnered with Western Forest Products (WFP) to deliver sustainably sourced timber for our sauna collection. Our high-grade Canadian Red Cedar timber is kiln dried to 8% moisture, which stabilises the timber and greatly reduces warping and shrinking once installed. Cedar is selected for its strong, lightweight qualities and beautiful aromatic scents. Our saunas reflect fundamental architectural principles being solid, useful, and beautiful.

WFP has a Net Positive Carbon balance across the organisation, removing more than 14 million tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere or the equivalent of taking 1.5 million cars from the road each year. They are Forest Stewardship Council Certified, aligning with FIFR’s sustainability philosophy.

Chromotherapy Lights

Enjoy the benefits of light and colour. Chromotherapy works to help stabilise your body through the spectrum of visible light. It is a technique used to help restore imbalances through applying coloured light to the body. It stimulates or suppresses various physiological & biochemical functions and regulates the neurohormonal balance within the brain. Chromotherapy has also been shown to produce positive impacts on cognitive abilities.

Elevate your sauna wellness experience. We have integrated a sound system controlled by Bluetooth to take the sauna to the next level. Whether you listen to the gentle sound of the ocean or the refreshing sounds of rain – our moisture and heat-resistant sound system will add the healing touch of music.

Glass

All FIFR saunas are fitted with 8mm tempered glass in the front door and associated panelling which is designed to increase its strength compared to normal glass. Tempering uses both compression and tension to stress the glass thereby avoiding splintering and creating a safer environment for the occupant.
